Hi John,
Each time I hear Michael Dell or Rollins talk about how things are overblown, or that Dell's problems are minor compared to Dell's phenomenal growth in the past, I'm reminded of how close they sound to the typical alzheimer patient in the reminiscent room of an assisted living facility !
But yet.........

NEW YORK, September 11 (newratings.com) - Analysts at Jyske Bank maintain their "buy" rating on Dell Inc (DELL.NAS). The target price is set to $32.
In a research note published this morning, the analysts mention that the company’s operating margins seem to have bottomed and are likely to recover in 2007. Dell is poised to benefit next year from the launch of Windows Vista and new processors from Intel, Jyske Bank says. The current valuation of the company’s stock is attractive, the analysts add.
regarding housing....
My girlfriend and I purchased a new construction in 2003 for x dollars. We were the last buyers of 9 new houses on a new cul de sac. We were last house,on the cul de sac, but we were aware that the builder was to straighten the street in front of our house, push the sac back and add 3-4 more houses. Little over a year and half ago, my immediate neighbor sold for x plus 300K and moved to north carolina. With the market going nuts, the builder quickly cleared the new land, pushed the turn around to its final position on the block and started building the 4 new houses for x plus 500K. Now he's stuck with the foundations in place and no buyers in sight for over a year. He recently lowered the starting price by 100K. Poor poor builder ;-)
Hope all is cool, cheers, gary |
