This is all interesting speculation but it's just speculation. Unless there are facts, I would put it in the same bucket as WMDs in Iraq.

People can believe practically anything but someone, somewhere has to come up with some facts.

I do not see the motivation behind demolishing the WTC in some kind of hugely elaborate, incredibly risky plan when taking down a plane or two could accomplish the same thing and only require a handful of people. I see AQ's plan as reasonably simple and with a great deal of dumb luck and bureaucratic stupidity playing his way.

All they had to have were a handful of individuals with the right knowledge and the ability to stick to the plan up until the end. What you're saying is that hundreds of people would be realizing on 911 that they committed mass murder and no one would like one word of it. You're saying that they deliberately went to work day after day planting explosives in three office buildings with no one being any wiser from those who track explosive sales to thousands of office workers to security in the building.

I'm still amazed that McVeigh's truck, parked in front of the office building in Oklahoma did that much damage. I think it's interesting to consider that the levees in NO buckled under a category 1 or sub hurricane level storm because they weren't built as ordered. Maybe the WTC wasn't built that well.

Incompetence, greed, stupidity, bureaucratic bungling...these things I can believe much more easily than a vast, perfectly timed, perfectly secret mass murder plot.
