Cell Therapeutics Says Lawsuit Dismissed Tuesday September 12, 7:27 am ET Cell Therapeutics Says Judge Dismisses Shareholder Lawsuit SEATTLE (AP) -- Cell Therapeutics Inc. said Tuesday a federal judge has dismissed a shareholder lawsuit against the biopharmaceutical maker. The company said that on Aug. 23, U.S. District Judge Ricardo S. Martinez dismissed, with prejudice, the complaint in which plaintiffs alleged breaches of duty by the company related to its Xyotax cancer treatment. Cell Therapeutics makes cancer treatments including Xyotax, a lung cancer drug on fast track with the Food and Drug Administration, which allows the company to submit clinical trial data as it becomes available, rather than having to wait to submit it all at once. Attorneys for the plaintiffs could not immediately be reached for comment. biz.yahoo.com
