It's amazing that the neo nazis would support a group of Muslims. The image of a skinhead next to a al quaeda terrorist is almost absurd. It's even more amazing that a Hindu symbol would become the symbol of the nazi party. Nothing surprises me anymore!!

No particularly.. They both perceive a common enemy, Jews. There were historical ties between the Nazis and the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem during WWII and several SS military units, in particular the Hanjar Division, were created from the Bosnian muslim population.

As for the Swastika, it goes WAY BACK and is not really a Germanic Rune.. But the Nazis rotated it to a "diamond shape" and made it their symbol. However, Swastikas were found at Troy by Schliemann (a German), which might account for its appeal

Hitler, and in particular Himmler, were fascinated with runes and Germanic myths.
