From my perspective, Palestinian intransigence and unwillingness to co-exist peacefully with Jews in Israel since World War One has led to defeat after defeat, degradation after degradation, and loss after loss.
Their situation is pathetic, but they brought it on themselves, and don't seem to be able to see this, or stop themselves.
Would Israel keep kicking their asses if America stopped supporting Israel? Well, the Israelis kicked their asses before we supported them. They've got better education, better technology, better organization, more money, and less self-destructive behavior. In any fight, that's what you'd put your money on.
The Arabs, on the other hand, seem able to convince themselves that they can accomplish impossible feats against all odds because "God is on their side." Magical thinking vs. modern technology. |
