I was having some luck working with my kid at home on math excelleration. Having been an ex-teacher, I decided to order some text books with teacher's guides from Houghton Mifflin. They refused to sell them to me unless I was a school.

I gave up, and hung up with a .... WOW!

My little girl was tested by the head of educational testing at Denver University last summer as an eight year old, achieving at the 9th grade 7th month level in Math ... F*#@ Houghton Mifflin. Now I'm struggling to get the public school where she is attending to provide Math instruction at her achievement level.

I am a supporter of the public education system but starting to wonder if maybe I should get a private school business license instead ... or just hire you to find ways around red tape.
