Ecolab buys maker of food industry cleaning products biz.yahoo.com bizjournals.com Tuesday September 12, 2:07 pm ET Ecolab Inc. said Tuesday that it has bought DuChem Industries Inc., a manufacturer of cleaning and sanitizing products used by the food industry. Ecolab (NYSE: ECL) did not disclose the terms of the deal. DuChem's products are specifically targeted toward the meat and poultry segments of the food industry. The company is based in Newnan, Ga., and has annual sales of about $10 million. Ecolab, in St. Paul, offers products and services related to maintenance and sanitation in the hotel, health care and food service markets, among other industries.
