NEW YORK, September 12 (newratings.com) - Analyst Jordan Rohan of RBC Capital Markets maintains his "outperform" rating on Google Inc (GOOG.NAS). The target price is set to $465.

In a research note published yesterday, the analyst mentions that recent channel checks indicate an increase in web activity over the past month. Google's share price is likely to appreciate in the near term, if the company's international segment posts higher-than-expected results for the current quarter, the analyst says.

Hard to say, but I wonder if the "slow quarter" which is usually the Sept quarter is not really slow at all. It was a big surprise last year when July-Sep was a blowout. Maybe the back to school season starts up earlier than some think.
