Andrew, an amusing aside involving the NXTR mountain man. The current issue of Nature Biotechnology includes an exchange between Sequana scientists and a couple of NexStar people (one of whom is Dr. Gold). Gold and Alper wrote a letter in the April issue promoting the use of SELEX and/or antisense as a method to validate therapeutic targets obtained from genomic work; they titled their work "Keeping pace with genomics through combinatorial chemistry." Harris and Buckler from Sequana took issue with a couple of points, and Gold-Alper argued back. This is all pretty nerdy stuff except the punch line by Gold in which he borrows one of the sentences in the Sequana letter and <<requested that his gravestone be marked with the unintended praise from the Harris/Buclker letter, "His intellect was revealing in its naivete'.">> Now, I am sure we can borrow this sentence or something similar for arguments with biowa, squetch, etc.

And, yes, SQNA will go up another buck tomorrow -g-
