Only time will tell. inex I agree. Having said that, I thought, and could see AMD's long term strategy from the LDT period. Intel talked about platforms, AMD did it! Let's face it. AMD with IMC and HTT is a huge platform to overcome. Designing the K8 to become multi cores was another brilliant move. Moving to 64 bits while preserving x86 was another. It matters not wether one considers an OS hardware an airplane or an automobile, balance is all way's key. Jules
