One of the reasons Dan Rather Biased was so eager to publish falsified documents about President Bush was that he had never been allowed to interview the President. Of course President Bush 43 was making a rational judgement after witnessing the hostile attack interview Rather Biased did with President Bush 41 prior to the election of 1996, and the softball interview he gave to the eventual winner of that race who wil always be known as the Perjurer In Chief. If you cannot see the point I will make it plain for you. The far leftwing NYTimes would take a birth announcement of one of the Twins and her husband and spin it as "Bush daughter gives birth, father unknown."
