I read the speech. It was excellent.

I have to wonder though. When Bush said,

<< "Five years ago, this date -- September the 11th -- was seared into America's memory." >>

Was he taking a swipe at John Kerry who said in the Congressional Record that his so called illegal, covert trip into Cambodia under orders by President ELECT Nixon was "seared, seared" into Kerry's memory.
