For all the bluster you hear from many posters, SI has a market mechanism to decide the popularity of content. If people want to read you, they peoplemark you. If not, they ignore you. If you offend, they ban you.

When the Ignores exceed the Peoplemarks for someone, guess what?

Look at the numbers for a lot of folks on SI and the market's verdict is very clear.
