A Baker post:

siliconinvestor.com

My attempts to get the rightwingers on this thread to spell out the issue were totally futile; all I got was name-calling in return.

MrLucky comments:

This is perhaps the biggest crock ever.

It was just the opposite.

Any comments made on his thread regarding the Democrats' lack of ideas or disagreement with their ideas were branded as campaign rhetoric. All Baker and his cadre of sycophants did was bash Bush and the administration on a daily basis.

I did not take that personal. In fact, posted some of my dissatisfaction with various GWB decsions. My problem with Baker and his thread was the "silly and bizarre' notion(included for the benefit of Ms X) that his thread was center-oriented which he professed it to be. It was anything but.

References to the Democrat plan as "cut and runnerism" is probably what ultimately prompted my banning. Some folks just can't handle the truth, which is why those folks like to manufacture their own.... The only campaign slogans they like are those of their invention - like Bush is another Hitler, Bush is a moron, Cheney et all outed Plame. You get the idea. The don't like it when the rabbit has the gun.

At one point I guess Baker elevated me to be in charge of DOD since he insisted I tell him how I would fix this Iraq and Iran problem. If I recall the post correctly, he insisted on specifics.

He doesn't get the difference, I guess, between people who post on message boards and people actually charged with the
responsibility for conceiving and implementing policy. Perhaps, that wasn't covered in Foreign Service 101.

Further, I basically am largely in agreement with the Iraq policy and Baker most obviously is not. One might think that would generate a flood of ideas from him and his camp.

So, when he asked me what would I do, give me your scenario etc. Well, duh.... I'm not the one in charge or the one who disagrees with the current policy.

It was noticeable that he never provided a scenario for solving Iraq during this posting exchange. Second thought, he might have mentioned the 'famous DNC et al "cut and run' scenario. <g>

I thought surely a man of his qualifications (Foreign Service) would share his fix-it answer with us.

These lefties (closet or otherwise) love to frame the debate
but are unable to do so effectively. Perhaps, that is why they hate Rove so much.....<g>

Caveat: I apologize to those Foreign Service employees , past and present, for any references in this post which may same derogatory to the profession.
