Buddy, I do have questions about such polls. Who is paying for it? What good will it do when completed? Will it be meaningful to mankind? And finally, what difference will it make?
IMO, an individual's faith is his private choice, and although I may disagree with what another may think, I am not in a position to tell him he is wrong. Each person should take the time, and effort, to be true to his beliefs, and leave others alone. History has told us, that if one religious group tries to force their beliefs on others, thousands will die. Is such a conflict worth a single life? BTW, I still believe we should fight, and defeat, evey terrorist faction on earth, including those that are still entrenched in Iraq. That is retaliation, not religion.
If I were to catch a person poaching bear for such a purpose, there would be one less of them regardless of who, or what, they are. If a person needs to kill a wild animal to prevent starving, or to protect himself, and family, from an attack by that animal, then it makes sense. But, I abhor any other reason. |
