I might disagree depending on what specifically you are referring to... (for example, which of the several crises...? <g>)

Generally, the choice to withdraw Tysabri was not made by Elan but rather by the FDA and Biogen. Managements previous efforts to divest products were done to good effect: great prices were obtained and enough left to provide a basis for operating at EBIDA breakeven. Currently, Tysabri launch seems to be going well. I am assuming that between US and EU about 1K scripts are being written every week and nothing I have heard would contradict that.
