A longtime supporter of Zix finally says enough:

Bullzii, saying goodbye to zix is hard. I made my break last week after 7 years, and I actually cried. I guess giving up on the dream we all shared was trumatic for many of us. I am now absolutely certain, in my own mind, that e-prescribing will not happen in a big enough way, soon enough to justify keeping it. Dr. First just announced a deal with a 2kplus doctor group in Idaho, and they have 5 (I know, only five) doctors that will be trying it for a year. My fear is that Spurr will keep pocketscripts until the final realization that this will never work in the alloted monetary time frame. The BOD, the major shareholders, and the rest of upper management are missing a golden opportunity not to sell it right now. If I didn't have more constructive ways to use what money I had left, perhaps I'd have stayed to see e-secure's day in the sun without the cash drain of e-health, but I do. And unlike some of you that can recoup your losses at $2.00 -$3.00 and are holding, It would done me little good. It was a real pleasure meeting all of you, in person, on the phone, via e-mail, etc. And if anyone still doubts that there were at least 25 great indivuals that once contributed to this message board, then you are just wrong. There are hundreds of things I could say in this last post, but many of them are bitter about the way our investment was handled, and I choose to remember the good stuff... all of you. (Kelly and Mike at Z, hi) I wish all of you, all the best. PS. I got to hang out with the Band "breaking benjamin" last saturday night. I have put a photo on my id for you all just for kicks. PSS, I'm pretty sure I don't look like a 30 year old male doctor. hehe
Be well my friends, be happy
