I'm actually pretty sure genzyme had a lot to do with it. From owning shares of a private company who competes with Amgen, I hear stories of how much pressure is on the analysts to defend their bread and butter customer amgen. Touch the ipo and lose their business or jobs. genzyme is also a very powerful company, several genz analysts made negative comments about amicus which must have hurt. Who do you think was feeding them the commentary?

I was also heavy in tkt, so was hoping for a small molecule tkt! Oh well!
