I work for a company who competes with AMP (I prefer not to say who, but we are no small fry). Most of you recall the plunge the stock took when orders from AMP fell off due a slowing of business. Well all I can say is that our business has been VERY strong as of late. One could logically conclude that if our business is this strong, others, like AMP, would have to be picking up also. I am not going to claim to be a techie (I am a Finance guy), but I do know our company uses PPT. A friend of mine who works with me (he is a manufacturing mgr) has repeatedly told me that PPT is the leader in their field. Cognex (COGX) is good too. I would have to say based on the strenghth of our business, the industry wide fundamentals are there for PPT to benefit. With $4 bucks a share in cash, no debt, proven products that are good, and a profitable operation to boot, this company appears solid to me. Also, the chart is starting to look Verrrrrrrrry interesting. I am long this baby.
