That's a great story with many lessons built in !! I think that violence erupts when civilization has failed...................and that includes all wars. Wars represent the total meltdown of civilized society. It's easier to go in with guns blazing ( having a brawl )and kicking butt. I am not an advocate of the " Kick Butt" style of diplomacy. The party with the kicked butt often gets even through the back door. This country has spent billions building up their stockpiles of "Kick Butt" weaponry but have ignored the means by which others can "get even". The NNBM is a better problem resolver! :>)
