Emmo: I like your analogy of NASCAR team. But the unfortunate thing is that NASCAR is always in the firefighting mode and the driver is always wrecking the car.

There is a very important problem with Verity. That is when Philippe was at the helm, he openly challenged and bad mouthed Bill Gates. As I pointed out several time in my earlier postings, he constantly wore political cap instead of techology cap. The only strength with Verity is its search engine. Instead of showcasing that he used that to challenge MSFT. That was grave mistake. Due to that he made himself limited his customer base and unnecessarily antogonized MSFT. Secondly VRTY spent mucho money on internationalizing its product and maintaining international offices without adequate supportive revenue. This is purely a divergence from management point of view and additional burden on its G&A and M&S organization.

I hope they will concentrate on US and some key european market and try to reduce its overheads. There is one thing for sure. VRTY might go up to $15 range some two years from now. Before that it has to go down to $2or lower level before moving up.

Somebody pointed out that they have a good technology etc., if that be the case why they are not selling that s**t.

Regards

Kumar.
