Sorry but that is a radical interpretation that doesn't hold water in mainstream Islam... it becomes as much of a reactive battle cry from Muslim haters as it is for the radical Muslims.
Sorry, but I think you are mistaken about this. This, by the way, is why I asked whether you are a Muslim, and if you speak Arabic.
If you are, in fact, a Muslim and you do, in fact, speak, or at least read, Arabic, you can point out the Surahs that support your position with some authority.
All I can do is point to literally countless translations and interpretations in English, not to mention literally countless newspaper articles, magazine articles, and books, also in English.
I suspect that you are mistaking your own beliefs for the "mainstream", which is an all too common mistake. |
