The terrorists are coming to Dallas and take your famlies out of your house and drag them down the street.

how fast you forget. Let us review, pompy.

1. two planes into two towers...towers go down.

man and women died. men and women jumped rather than be burned to death.

NOW, pompy, how much different is that? AND HOW FAR DOWN THE ROAD DO YOU THINK IT WILL BE BEFORE DALLAS IS HIT?

McCain, Warner, Powell and Graham can understand nuance

yeah...so did Bubba. I say again. Is there ANYTHING you would not do to a terrorist to save your family....or would you simply "nuance" him to death?

Based on YOUR reading of morality, which is absolutely right of course and without nuance, you would outlaw activities like drinking and smoking. Sounds very Taliban to me

you , pompy, can lie about me all you wish, it does not change what The Lord God has said. Funny you worry about morality and me being like Taliban, but you will let a terrorist tear the hide off your little girl while he rapes her. Not good my friend. You worry more about getting to drink and smoke and the hell with your family, am I right?

are you serious that if you had the chance you would outlaw drinking of alcohol, smoking, and sex outside of marriage?

Do you drink and\or smoke? I have no power to outlaw anything. But will you read and HEAR what the Lord God say about such?

Ephesians 5: 14- "Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you." Be very careful, then, how you live--not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord's will is. Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit.
Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 4: 1- Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin. As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do--living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry. They think it strange that you do not plunge with them into the same flood of dissipation, and they heap abuse on you. But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to men in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.

Romans 13: 12- The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. Let us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature.

Galatians 5: 18- But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law. The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Titus 1: 6- An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient. Since an overseer is entrusted with God's work, he must be blameless--not overbearing, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not pursuing dishonest gain. Rather he must be hospitable, one who loves what is good, who is self-controlled, upright, holy and disciplined. He must hold firmly to the trustworthy message as it has been taught, so that he can encourage others by sound doctrine and refute those who oppose it.

I did not even touch on the fact that such activity causes physical death and disease, as spiritual death is MUCH more terrible,, but there are many other scriptures from God's word. Do you need more examples why such activity should not be practiced?
