I think Bush is now as valuable as floor sweepings to the Republicans. A new cabal is likely to emerge. McCain, Powell and Warner could be the hub of the next group. It will be very difficult if not impossible for Democrats to beat them in the 2008 elections. Hey, the Dems could not beat incompetent lying thieving scum the last time around -- they won't stand a chance against a group with a few brains and a whole lot of integrity. As for Bush, he will be hoping for a Presidential pardon after spending the next few years trying very hard to thwart efforts to try him and his gang for war crimes.
