I agree with you. That was my point. When something good happens in corporations or politics, everyone always says it was the previous guy who laid the foundation for that success. Or vice versa if something bad happens. It's a silly argument and is a misdirection of responsibility.


It's not silly in the discussion we were having. HPQ has ~140k employees and is a massive, worldwide conglomerate. That HPQ suddenly showed revenue and EPS strength two months after Hurd replaced Fiorina is something that Fiorina should get the credit for, not Hurd. You don't affect a huge company like HPQ significantly in 2 months much less in two years.
