Somebody mentioned the net as the best source and they are absolutley correct. Information from sources such as CCN,CNW,news groups, list servers etc can result in information overload. Add in some news letters and you have a problem. Now,thanks to a program called chartsmart I am back on my feet again, A few months ago my problem was how to organize all the information as it does not take long to have megabytes of it. In late spring I subscribed to a data information sevice out of Vancouver chartsmart.com You may want to take a look at it. They do charge 35$ Canadian per month but you get the high, low, close, volume data for TSE,VSE and ASE. This is graphed in their program chartsmart so you can look at a 9month daily or 2 3/4 yearly graph of all the stocks. Each stock has a memo field so I can copy and paste articles from the web and be looking at the stock graph at the same time. The software is free when you subscribe and they do offer I believe a 1 week free trial. They are continually improving the sevice and may be offering other exhanges in their data base in the future The fabled John Kaiser also uses their services. No I dont work for them, just happy to be able to use the net more efficiently.
For those that want to give it a whirl I am sure they will find it helpful. I know that I have.
