The GSMA boasts there will be 551 mil WCDMA users worldwide by 2009. Although they prefer to place those subs in the GSM column, in fact, they are CDMA subs. When you add in the CDMA 2000 folks, 1 billion CDMA users will have been achieved.
Not a bad growth rate from today, especially since WCDMA ASP`s will still be higher than GSM, wouldn`t an objective guy like you admit?
