Well, I've come to the conclusion that the best way to fight the oil barrons is to vote Democrat in the next election. Two things we know about these so-called Republicans that now own the White House and Congress. They are pro-business and anti-middle and lower classes. They are VERY pro-oil, as evidenced by their recent energy legistlation giving oil companies $13B in tax breaks. And they are very bought and paid for. Cheney and Bush are oil-men, no doubt.

The Democrats with all their lunacy and sometimes extreme liberalism such as that ridiculous organization called th ACLU that used to serve a useful purpose and now serves just to destroy all vestiges of Christianity in this country...the Democrats have historically bucked business interests in favor of the little guy. In addition, Democrats have historically been the enviromental freaks and tree-huggers.

Now it just so happens that the Democrats had it right all along when it comes to the environment. So it's an easy sell to them on oil independence, because they'll be thinking about tree hugging and we'll be thinking about solving our economic and national security concerns. And at the end of the day, it really can solve global warming as an added benefit.

So I think it's clear what we have to do. Even if we don't like the next Democratic nominee and all their other policies, we need to vote for him or her.

Like I said before, all my politics have coalesced into one issue: oil independence. Nothing else matters as much because our top 3 problems (security, economy, environment) can be solved with a focus on this one issue.
