Gore owns no stock in Occidental Petroleum. This rightwing lie was concocted in 2000 to try and make Gore look like a hypocrite for his 100% correct and forward-looking stance on our need to get off oil as our #1 fuel source and move toward clean fuels. The rightwing also claimed Gore said he "invented" the internet, which was another lie. In fact Gore's statement about that was true, and he does deserve a lot of credit for the fact we can sit here on the net today. He helped change the world in a positive way. What has GW Bush ever done to change the world in a positive way?
