1) I never implied or stated any such thing.

2) You seem comfortable representing others in ways they would never represent them selves. Building strawmen and attacking people with that is not too interesting. When you do that to explain the humble innocent lives and outlooks of a billion people it is ... well, to you it is self righteous, I see it differently.

3) You are now not only speaking as an authority about billions of people you admit to not understanding, but you are arguing with most of them about what they believe and stand for. As a practicing Catholic you should recognize the falacy of someone taking a portion of the Catholic history, individual or fringe interpretations, or specific doctrine and using it to paint a complete picture of what Americans are like.

4) Your evidence is equivalent to presenting the ideas of Theodore Kazinski to explain to the world what to expect from all Americans.
