You can say no one is killing Muslims because they are Muslims, but their perception is that it IS happening. That you don't believe it, that it might not even be "real", doesn't matter. It is real to them. That's why I made the point about the Christians here. Reality as you see it is meaningless when you try to evaluate people who aren't a thing like you.

The question to ask is, "Taking in to account their reality, does what they are doing make sense?" I'd answer that yes. The nest question I would ask is "How do we change their reality so either it will be more in line with ours, OR that they will act more the way we want them to(and be less of a danger to us)." This "how" question should dictate all our plans and behavior, imo.
