I love the Declaration of Independence. I respect the spirit of that document over the new National Security State. I still remember "the self-evident truths", which made this country great. I love the United States of America as "the land of the free and the home of the brave." I do not respect a land where people cower in terror and fear. The November Congressional elections will be decisive. If the Democrats win the House, it leaves open the possibility for full scale impeachment proceedings. President Bush knows what's at stake here. The US needs to be returned to its former historical Constitutional foundation and not slide further into full-scale Executive Tyranny.
