By the Way did you notice the top story in the news today is about the Pope's Apology? I looked over a couple of things covering it and find the news more controversial than the original statement.

What the Pope actually did was state that he was 'Sorry for the reaction' to his comments and clarified that these are not his feelings about Muslims but a quote from an ancient Bizzentine ruler.

Being sorry for what is going on in the world is not necessarily equivalent to an apology for one's behavior. You can be sorry that someone's father dies for example. I think it is responsible for him to attempt to clear things up and I'm not sure he owes anyone an apology. I hold the media responsible for much of the confusion and the reactions. It has caused a new wave of bigotted hatred against innocent Muslims and a new wave of violence perpetrated by Muslim extremists.

While I am at it, I hope the perps who fire bombed Churches and committed or called for other kinds of violent reactions get arrested and proscecuted for their crimes, to the full extent of the law.

I am sorry all this reactive crap is going on too. Me and the Pope are like bro's
