It never ceases to amaze me how journalists can get simple economic facts SO wrong. That you repeat their idiocy, however, is never surprising.

"Since 2001", according the the BLS's establishment survey (which many economists argue misses a large portion of job creation because it ignores small businesses and the self-employed), private payrolls have grown by 4.1 million jobs while health care payrolls accounted for only 1.3 million of that. Hmm. 2.8 million and "none" are in disagreement by just a smidge, don't you think?
