The volunteer army means few protest, though many grumble and fume. It also means there are not enough troops to fight more than one medium sized war at a time. If Bushies called for a draft then you'd see real protests. or if Bushie sons had to go to war. That would end it right there. Not a single Bushie leader has ever served in combat nor allowed him son to go.
