Yes, I remember a long while back when we would try to transfer files of unknown file types between machines. Say you had Oracle installed on machine A and machine C but needed to move it to machine B first. There were ways to do this with unstructured file transfers. Just pick up the whole thing as a blob of sorts and dump it.

But back to itunes, if they are going to support movies etc, you would think they would need to provide this handbrake facility out of box, no?
