They were TOLD not to wear them. The White House did not want anybody to hesitate re-entering the city. The White House knew that if people saw masks and respirators being used, they would hesitate. And it's not just the first responders who were affected. Asbestos fibers stayed in the air in a wide area for months. It can settle for a time and be blown back into the air on a breeze. You stupidly referred to "smoke" in the air. It was not smoke. It was a chemical stew. You stupidly tried to blame any lung problems the first responders had on presumed personal habits. You're actually more than stupid. Despicably twisted is a more apt description.
When the Nazis first came to power in Germany, there were a few citizens who saw behind the lies. Some of them left. Some stayed and tried to open the eyes of others. As time went by, small numbers of people would come to see the truth.
One example of such a group in the later stages of the Nazi regime:
"The Society of the White Rose was a World War II non-violent resistance group in Germany famous for a leaflet campaign in which they called for active opposition to the Nazi regime. The group initially consisted of five students, all in their early twenties at Munich University. Between June 1942 to February 1943 they prepared and distributed six different leaflets, in which they called for an end to Nazi oppression and tyranny through active opposition of the German people. Hans Scholl and his sister Sophie led the rest of the group, including Christoph Probst, Alexander Schmorell and Willi Graf. They were joined by a professor, Kurt Huber, who drafted the final two leaflets. All six members of this group were arrested, tried, convicted and executed by beheading. A seventh leaflet was found in possession of the students at the time of their arrest by the Gestapo." crystalinks.com
By the time it was all over for the Nazis, a whole nation woke up to reality. Many, upon their realization of how deeply they were fooled, broke down and cried.
We need some crying in this country. The depths of deception to which this administration has gone rivals that of the Nazis in Germany. |
