That is why these guys chose to make it a luxury sportscar. The batteries make it too expensive for a mass produced car. But the very fact that they have made one that goes 250 miles on one charge means that we are on our way to eventually having electric cars that are viable for mass production at a reasonable price to the consumer. Everything comes in baby steps and this is a great baby step.
