If SI took one side or another, it opens up a whole can of unintentional and uncontrollable worms that affect the viability of the business for all of us.

Allowing a tout to "moderate" over 300 threads and letting him ban anyone at will is not taking sides?

The moderator system -- as it stands -- makes them take the side of the touts, by default.

It needs fixing. Badly.
