Industry Expert to Moderate Biometric Issues Forum

BALTIMORE, Sept. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ --

What: Walter Hamilton of Saflink® Corporation will moderate several presentations at the upcoming Biometric Consortium Conference. Hamilton, participating on behalf of the International Biometric Industry Association (IBIA), will moderate four separate presentations as part of an IBIA-sponsored Issues Forum within the conference program. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about key issues and trends related to biometrics including the new Personal Identity Verification (PIV) credential standard for Federal employees and contractors.

Who: Walter Hamilton is Vice President and General Manager of Biometric Solutions at Saflink. He is an authority on biometric standards and currently serves as Chairman and President of the IBIA and Chairman of the Biometric Foundation.
