My illustration was meant to reflect the slick way some people jump from the 'Horrors! We were ATTACKED on 9-11' to 'So it was natural to attack Iraq right back....'.

We CERTAINLY WERE attacked in most dastardly manner on 9-11.

But the trail lead directly from OBL and al Qaeda, to their *sponsors* and *protectors* the Taliban in Afghanistan, and the ISI in Pakistan (&, let's NOT FORGET: the top General of Pakistan's military, who WIRED $100,000 DIRECTLY to Mohammed Atta the week before the attack!)... to their financial and spiritual *supporters* and enablers in Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

Thus the 'Japan attacked us at Pearl Harbor so we declared war on Thailand' bit of satire and criticism.

But, you know that, so there is no need for us to rehash it....
