I watched the movie, "Flight 93" yesterday.

The movie was both gripping & extremely hard to watch at the same time. Even though I knew in advance almost everything that was about to unfold, I was riveted throughout the entire movie. And like many of the 9/11 memorials that float about the internet, I was brought to tears more than once.

Most of the folks on that plane were everyday people. Most of them were Americans. They knew what fate was before them. Not only would they die, other innocent people on the ground were sure to die with them if they didn't act. They chose to act rather than hope or wish for a different outcome (or to try to discuss things over with the "freedom fighters"). They were true heroes.

IMO, the movie did take what I considered a couple of cheap shots (one at Bush & one at Cheney). Overall though, they mostly stayed non-political & stuck to what we have been able to piece together about Flight 93 & 9/11.

If you haven't seen "Flight 93", I suggest you add it to your list of must see movies.
