I think you mean chips for receiving, compilation, executing Java in general?
As far as I see this is the logical, simple and thus inevitable solution.
All types of apparatus (your vacuum cleaner, car, stereo, coffeemachine, microwave oven, VCR, (cell)phone) will all have a chip like this.
Ther will be add-on cards for the PC to speed up Java, just like there are now for speeding up 3D imaging, video movies, virtual reality and music on the PC.
Investing in companies which are proven to be creative and capable to develop such chips seems a good long term (1.5 -2.5 year) policy.
Anyone any ideas which these could be?

Just my opinion.
