Fact: Bush is allowing Pakistan to protect Osama after letting him get away at Tora Bora.

Both assertions are wrong.

Pakistan admitting they had a truce with the tribes which are protecting Osama, promisiung never to attack them again.

Again wrong.

Pakistan agreed not to attack the tribal areas and their local leaders, those local leaders agreed to not let OBL and the Taliban operate from their regions. Now they might be lying, or they might be unable to do anything about it in which case your back to square one. I'm not saying the agreement is a good thing. It could be a very bad thing, because it could lessen pressure on our enemies. It could in fact be a very bad thing, but what it is not is a pact to allow OBL to operate in the tribal areas.

pretending his "course" in Iraq leads somewhere besides more chaos and disorder

No pretending involved here. Although it will be a long difficult effort.

letting his operatives cheat and rig elections

More nonsense.

hile pretending he's going after Al Qaida with that program

again no pretending involved.

trying to rewrite the Geneva Convention to allow him retroactively to be allowed to torture and execute prisoners without fair trials

Not true.

and letting Dubai take over our ports.

Letting a company from Dubai, who already does a good job of operating ports across the world, operate some American ports. In any case this isn't going to happen, its no longer on the agenda.
