Contemplate this before you resort to insults. If Jesus Christ had not come down to this earth and directed his disciples to go forth and share the message of salvation would missionaries have been following his guidance for the last two millenia? He did more for the spread of civilization than any nation in the history of the earth.

When the United States helps other people of the world could it be driven by the Christian directive to help others? Since nearly 75% of Americans identify themselves as Christian, it would be ridiculous to presume that Christian values do not pervade Christian behaviors.
