I have no idea if you are being sincere or patronizing..really..when I asked you what you'd do 'with this issue'..you responded with 'what issue?', etc, etc..hence, my confusion as you've been discussing this all day..

What I've been discussing all day is whether Geoff's conclusion about the Pope's purpose is on target. You ask me what I'd do with "this issue." Applying your question to my issue with Geoff does not compute. Surely that isn't the issue you had in mind. I was discussing with DMA the utility of outrage as a response to perceived insult. Is that "this issue." In the course of our colloquy you mentioned several points you thought the Pope was trying to make. Perhaps one of them is what you had in mind. I don't know. Thus my question, "which issue."

Are you a lawyer?-g- I've heard this so often from a past lawyer liasons..

My career was spent as an analyst, a computer systems analyst early on. You asked me for a design--what I would have done or some such. My response is automatically "design for what?".

For some reason you are poking at me for being unresponsive when you haven't told me "which issue." That doesn't seem reasonable to me. If you ask me a straight-forward question, I'll try to respond. Otherwise, I'll assume you're just trolling.

I haven't got a clue re: what to do about the issue I bring to the forefront of administrators/legislators[children's human rights is my baby]

Can't say I've ever given that one a thought. Generic human rights is a tough enough nut.
