Tibet was a nation? Which history text is that piece of fact from?

Apparently not from a Chinese history text. I mean, let's face some facts here TJ.. If China wants to claim some kind of historical basis for asserting that Tibet is part of China, then the same could be said for Mongolia having a right to claim all of China. After all, the Mongols ruled BOTH China and Tibet for much of their recorded history.

So what's next.. Annexing the Spratly Islands?

So, now you are willing to consider the Iraq adventure on a scale with Germany in Poland, with some twists and turns?

You made the analogy, I just showed you how ridiculous it was.

Iraq is no longer "occupied". It stopped being when 11 million Iraqis went to the polls and elected their own government, and that government requested the continued presence of coalition forces.

The minute the Iraqi government says leave, we should.

... but what if the guy is not a terrorist, but merely a resistance fighter in act of defiance against foreign invaders of his land, and helping to close the circle against the murderers of his grandchildren?

The justification for being a "resistance fighter" ended when the Iraqi people voted for their first TRULY LEGITIMATE.

Now, of couse, if you're a Sunni, and a former Ba'thist, then you probably feel quite justified in "resisting" since you've been thrown out of power.

... sorry, i am on money rock Hong Kong, answerable to no one, judged to be at freest point in this galaxy, by your heritage foundation, for good reasons.

Yeah.. pre-1999, maybe.. But right now you're merely a convenient source of expertise in capital markets that the Communists in Bejing require. And you're a threat to the power of the ruling elite. All's well and good now because they need something from you.

But go ahead and continue to believe that delusion.. And I hope you find the power to remain on top. But never delude yourself into believing that another "cultural revolution" can never take place. Especially when Bejing doesn't even want to acknowledge or discuss the original one.

And just pray that a Typhoon never devastated Hong Kong.. Your deaths may never be acknowledged..
