The resistance that the structure provided once the central columns buckled was minimal. The buildings fell quickly, but not faster than you'd expect in a collapse of this nature. If you are so sure of yourself than I'm sure you're looking forward to a court case where your incontrovertible evidence will win over a jury. Have fun waiting.
