No, once again my apple friend you fail to notice the obvious. This poll asked random people if they were doing something which was illegal. If 30% responded "yeah, i pirate music" you can safely assume that a much larger percentage of people actually did. I suspect if they did a poll of accused bank robbers the number who said "i'm guilty" would probably be somewhat less than the real truthful percentage.

BTW- get well soon. I've experienced cancer in some close friends and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Get healthy so I can continue to bust your chops for a long time to come regarding apple's ineptitude.

cheers

btw- how are you posting? most hospitals wont even let you have a blackberry active inside, much less a contant 802.11 connection.. (for fear of interfering with doctor's pagers or various medical equipment) are you using a landline connection?

So 30 percent get music illegally, and only 17 percent buy it online. That means that the majority of users must be ripping CDs which they may or may not own, I'll concede). It also means that 70 percent of iPod owners don't download music illegally. I'm not making that up. I'm just using the study you cited.
