Clam, I attended the breakout, and was surprised by the 40k floor myself. I assume that that's a minimum for continued employment. Don't forget, these are big deals, so that's $480,000 per year, and PegaCard is only sold by FDC now.

Did you see Rain Forest Cafe? Gooooood story.

Qaigen? Gooooood story.

Siebel? Beeetttter story still. Bought it back. Tom put up a slide today saying he has a market-leading 29% share of the customer care (non-SFA) market now (Vantive has 24).

Remedy impressed me, too.

As you know, it's a four-ring circus (eight-ring including breakouts), so I can't see everything I want to, but my fav's so far are Advanced Fibre, Pediatrix, Ciena, Proffitts, Komag, Corrections Corp, Qaigen, AmeriSource, Applied Graphics Technologies, Remedy, RF Micro Devices, Jabil Circuits, Apex PC Solutions, PRI Automation, Rainforest Cafe, Saville Systems, Siebel, Asyst Technologies, and Uniphase. I think I like Peritus Software Services if I can just understand what the hell they do. Cisco blew me away today, too, but he buzz around the conference is that Newbridge is unstoppable in the high-end ATM WAN market.
